Iljask moves the boulders from around him trying to see who helped him.

There is no one around, but there is a thin trail of black liquid leading from the boulders to a small tree gathering. However, there are distant cries of what sounds like Grigworms in the distance. Which should Iljask go to?

Iljask goes to the Grigworms...

Pulling out his dagger he gets ready for anything

Iljask walks slowly up the slope leading to the cries. There is a *THUD* *THUD* from above, and a Grig flies off of the hill. It twitches, looks at Iljask with pleading eyes, then lays motionless. Should you confront this menace?

Iljask runs up to it with his medical kit ready to heal...

The grigworm seems to be past the point of repair. Its corpse, however, contains 3 gold and some loose scales. Do you take them?

Plus, the cadaver seems to bear several blunt impact marks.

Yes, Iljask takes the gold and with a sad face continues on.

GROOOAR!
A Gorus Herb smashes three more Grigworms into the nearest wall with its clublike hand. The remaining two Grigworms have strange black and green markings on their shells. It's almost as if they are exalted members of the Grigworm community? They stand their ground. The Gorus Herb swings at them, but they block it with their armor plated heads, and the Herb reels back.

Iljask is ready for a fight and pulls out his blade...

Okay, Iljask searches his near by surroundings for any useful projectiles. Iljask takes a rock and right about to throw it he realizes it isn't a rock..."Its glowing!"

The rock Iljask is holding glows a bright violet and blue. It is slightly warm to the touch, and smooth. The Grigworms don't notice Iljask pick it up, however, and continue holding their ground. The Gorus Herb, on the other hand, notices fully and lunges towards Iljask!!

Iljask pulls back his arm and is ready to see what this rock can do.
