There are several sleeping squids around Keelan, now that he looks. They, however, are jet black, so they blended in before. One seems to have a small rock suckered to its hand. There is also a large, jagged rock that looks very heavy, sitting on the ground near him.

OoC: Wait. Shoots? And I'm giving you some time to do Vii.

OoC: Yeah, Vii's been packing heat.

The squid holding the rock's head spurts a white liquid. It gets up, noticeably startled. Now realizing what happened, it lunges straight forward with a tentacle spiked! Throwing all its power into one strike, it swings... and passes right through Vii. As the squid collects itself, Bhujri, the god of Death, motions for him to follow.

The gunshot, however, awakens three squids! The low ceiling to the room forces Universe to make a battle pit, instead. The mix of igneous and metamorphic rock toughnesses cause some incongruities in the walls of the pit, unfortunately...

Scutz cutz the closest spider.

Vii's first slash connects for 3 damage, but the squid dodges the second assault. Following suit, the squid slashes back with its tentacle. This connects, dealing 2 damage in return. The other squids squiddle closer.

Scutz' cut connectz, dealing a nice slash across the close infirmary spider's prow and knocking 3 HP off its total. The spider, now miffed, swings back for 2.

Scutz lets loose his Scutz Cutz upon the spider below him!

The shot ricochets off the squid's head, knocking him off kilter-like; the shot also does a considerable 5 damage! Unfortunately, Vii is now surrounded... and the squids know this! The first, non-moving squid lashes out for 3 damage. Then, the other squid moves in to get a better (if not addled) look at Vii.

Whack! Skitter! PAIN! Oh my. The Infirmary spider is clocked a strong one across the face, and sent wheeling into the lava-- a fitting demise for such a vile creature. The lava disappears all MMBN style, having done its deed. The second spider is far from dead, however. Its lively arm swings into Scutz for two damage.
